This week’s question is: Do you have celebrations for your blog’s anniversary such as a giveaway? Hah! Nope I do not. Firstly, I don’t even know when my blog’s anniversary is. I can’t remember the first time I blogged and I’m pretty sure my first blog post is lost to time.
In continuing my quest to downsize before I move out, I move onto the next KonMari category: books. My bookshelf before All my books are in the basement. We moved them down here a couple years ago. It’s amazing how when I was younger, having a bookshelf in my room didn’t take up so much space. We keep a lot of random things in the basement so I ended up sifting through a lot of unrelated items.
I’ve been trying to use the KonMari method for about two years now. In my previous attempts, I’ve managed to get through my clothes and books and then I stop there. Since I’m planning to move out soon (that’s another blog post entirely), I decided now is the best time to downsize. The bulk of my possessions are clothes and thankfully that’s the first step to KonMari. All my clothes piled up So I gathered up all my clothes and put them on a pile on my bed.
